Under German law we are required to present the following withdrawal policy in a specific legal wording. That’s why you’ll see formal terms such as “consumer” and the formal address “you” used in the text below. It simply refers to you as a customer of Stona.
The German version of this withdrawal policy is the legally binding one. On other language versions of our website we provide a translation for convenience; in case of any discrepancies, the German version prevails.
This right of withdrawal applies to consumers as defined under European consumer protection law.

Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Stona GmbH, Siegfriedstr. 152, 10365 Berlin, Germany, email: info@iamstona.com) by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
We reserve the right to inspect returned goods for identity, completeness, and condition before issuing a refund.
You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.
The consumer may only inspect the goods in the same way that would be possible in a physical store. This includes only examining the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, for example by looking at them, handling them or carefully trying the mechanism without actual use.
If the goods are used beyond such inspection, this may result in compensation for loss in value. In particular, use of the goods in a way that goes beyond brief testing and leads to a loss in value may result in a corresponding deduction.
Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
Please note that individually made or personalized products are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal.
